Bumanguesa by birth, Alejandra Valdivieso is a lawyer and specialist in administrative law from the Javeriana University of Bogotá.
For several years she practiced her profession in the private and public sectors and although from a very young age, the passion for fashion ran through her veins, it was only in 2008, when working with her sister in the creation of a new clothing brand dress, found the need to complement women's wardrobe with jewelry and accessories.
After participating in national and international fashion fairs and events, Alejandra decided, in 2014, to make her line independent and register the brand that today bears her name.
To date, the Alejandra Valdivieso brand has exported to more than 12 countries over the years and has established itself as a handmade jewelry brand, whose designs are inspired by Colombian Culture.
In addition to leading her company, Alejandra is a member of the Executive Committee of the Jewelry and Costume Jewelry Cluster of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and is the current President of the board of directors of the Joya Colombia Association, a non-profit entity, which seeks and promotes the growth of the jewelry and costume jewelery sector in the country.
